A 1979-es szong egyszerre tárja fel a kegyetlen valóságot, és enged betekintést a férfi lélek legmélyének rejtelmes bugyraiba. Amiből azt hiszem összesen kettő van, de lehet hogy három, még nem számoltam össze. Az eredetileg bulldognak indult Rowlf élete egy 1962-es Purina reklámmal indult, majd hosszú nélkülözés és tucatnyi bugyuta Szezám utcai mellékszerep után 1976-ban szerződtette a Muppet, ahol eleinte kisebb szerepeket osztottak rá, mint pl Dr. Bob-ot, az ostoba állatorvost, míg végül megtalálta saját hangját, és válhatott bárzongoristává.
